Violet symphony orchestra on stage with Masoud Yekta singer and Farzad Noshad conductor. Wednesday April 13th was night of performance in Arike Iranian. In audience there were some known figures like Sadegh Tabatabaei, Mohammad Taghi Zarabi, Mohsen Elhamian, Majid Derakhshani, Keyvan Saket, Salar Aghili, Parvaz Homay, Babak Rezaee and many from art community.
In first part of the concert, named Sohrab, songs like Ahle Kashanam, Manzoome – e – Barf, Goosh Kon and Hichestan and two instrumental pieces were performed.
Part two of the concert was for Rumi poems and songs Man Gholam – e – Ghamaram, Tiz Davam and Inja Kasi Hast Penhan were performed plus two instrumental pieces were performed.
Memorable work of Ruhollah Khaleqi and Hossein Gole Golab a nationally loved song was the ending of the show.
But there are things that had bad effect on the experience. Arike Iranian was not the ideal place for a symphony orchestra. It seemed they had to choose this salon due to previous cancellations in Tehran and Rasht.
Singer voice was low and not so clear. Drums were too loud and wind section was as good as the rest of orchestra. There are others problems to point at but it is a great effort to run this orchestra with no support. This is a good news and if continued they will be successful.
